Pillar & Stones: Game of Thrones Recap

A show that makes you laugh, cry, makes you sit ramrod straight on your couch looking for the rewind button, not so much to view it again but looking for a do-over (because you're in shock of what just happened)...that's the definition of a GREAT show...that's Game of Thrones.

Last nights episode was nothing short of amazing. Well up until the last 2 minutes anyways. I love the Stark girls, each for different reasons. As Arya has always held her own, now Sansa is finally learning how to play the game. Arya and the Hound arrive at the Vale, only to find out that her aunt Lysa is dead. Just 3 days shy of selling little Arya to her aunt, and much to Arya's surprise...she laughs, and laughs, and laughs...Have I mentioned how much I love her!! Meanwhile, unbeknown to Arya, her sister Sansa is so close, yet so far away. Will they ever reunite? What would Arya find if she did see her sister..surely not the whiny little girl that had puppy love eyes for Joffrey. I think Littlefinger is leaving his mark on her. We lastly see Sansa transformed into the Lady of the Vale, while Creepy McCreepster, I mean Littlefinger, takes her all in like she's dinner!

I thought the moment shared by Grey Worm and Missandei was quite touching, but it was Khalessi's inquiry about the Unsullied pillar and stones that had me cracking up. A completely legitimate question, one I've actually googled myself. I love their interaction with one another. And now her council is complete, with the dismissal of Jorah the traitor. My only issues, was that in my opinion she should have killed Jorah. He's been a traitor since the beginning, he doesn't deserve her mercy. What are your thoughts?

Ok, so the entire episode is going smashingly, and of course we've been expecting the the fight between The Mountain and the Red Viper. Our beloved Tyrion, our favorite imp's life depends on his Champion, Prince Oberyn defeating the monster they call the Mountain. His life and his head depends on it. With Oberyn out for revenge, this trail by combat is a game changer. The prince of Dorne had it, but it only took one single moment to lose it. When that moment happened, there was nothing but shock, despair, and sadness. I'll skip the gruesome details, really who would want to rehash that?! I say farewell to the the beautiful Prince of Dorne...your time was too short.
