Eric Northmam..Is Sex On a Throne

Welcome back Eric....What a great episode last night. And Ginger said it best, "Eric Northman...is sex on a throne. " I'm not gonna disagree with that. He may be sick, but he still has that look that will make ya all warm and fuzzy inside. Speaking of, he kinda got that look when he saw Sookie. And there's no denying, Sookie was feeling it too. It was such a beautifully tender moment between them. The sort of moment that makes you reminisce about when they were briefly together. I know Bill was her first love, but there is no disputing their unspoken chemistry. It was the first time all season that we've seen some genuine emotion from Sookie.
In other True Blood news, it was awesome to see some of the old beloved characters back, like Terry and Hoyt. It was such an emotional episode, from Jessica starving herself, Arlene close to deaths door and making those gut wrenching calls to Hoyt and Alcide's dad. On a positive note,  no deaths unless you want to count the Hep-V vamps. They suck though, so it really didn't matter.
Let's just hope someone will come up with a cure to save Eric.

Raine reigns!!! "Meant for Her" release blog!

Raine Thomas outdid herself again. "Meant for Her" Is friggin incredible. It can be read as a stand alone novel or as a wonderful follow on from "For Everly".

There is enough little references to "For Everly" in this book to be a wonderful spoil. However the new story, with awesome new characters that you can not help but fall head over heels in love with, is a treat that I CANNOT RAVE ABOUT ENOUGH!

You cannot help but root for the relationship to work even if it seems impossible. I laughed and cried, and laughed again. Sierra and Evan are such deep characters that you find yourself wanting to be their friends. In your mind you know they are incredible creations in Raine's head but your heart tells you to keep believing. That is, only when you give up the dream of being Sierra. I mean read this book and tell me you are NOT in lust with Evan and I will call you a lair to your face.

But then again there isn't a book written by Raine that I would NOT recommend highly. I call her my pusher! Her books are purely addictive. Do yourself a favour and get hooked yourself.

Hookah Please

" Ring, ring hookah! Ring, Ring!" So who is gonna miss the hell out of True Blood's Lafayette? If you've read the books than you know Lafayette gets killed off early on in the second book, but because of the popularity of his character they decided to keep him on the series. Good call on that one! I can't imagine True Blood without him.

I LOVE Lafayette, hands down he's one of my favorite characters ever! He delivers the best lines, I'm always eagerly anticipating what he's going to say.  He's tough and yet has the longest lashes and most makeup of anyone on the show, and he can rock a pair of gold pants like no other. Lafayette is just one of those characters you will always remember...I am probably going to miss him the most, as the series is coming to an end.

I've posted a few of his best moments...enjoy Hookahs!!!!!

Rob's Corner

Robert+Pattinson+Blackbook+Magazine+4.jpg

These past few weeks, I have been praising Rob’s performance in The Rover. I am still in awe over how dynamic his acting is in that film. But before I get myself caught up again, let’s take a step back. Even though he has a multitude of movies coming up in the next year, I think we need to look at some of his other accomplishments that might not have been widely recognized.

For the first segment, let me bring out a character I absolutely loved, Tyler Hawkins. The movie Remember Me (2010), directed by Allen Coulter, is based pre-September 2001 in NYC.

(credit:  www.heyuguys.com)
Tyler, a moody 21 yr-old, auditioning for NYU while working part-time at the bookstore, has a volatile relationship with his father, played by Pierce Brosnan, and a loving relationship with his sister Caroline, played by Ruby Jerins.

(credit:  www.eonline.com)

His love interest in the movie, Abby, played by Emilie De Ravin, brings a whole other level to the complexity of Rob’s character. From being beaten up by his girlfriend's father to consoling his sister from the bullies of private school, Rob really shows many sides to his acting skills.

For those that haven’t seen the movie, I am not going to spoil it, even if it’s 4 years old now. But you will not expect what happens at the end!

This is just one movie that should have brought more acclaim to Rob!

Next week, I will take another step back in time and come up with another reason why everyone should be in Rob’s Corner!

Hottie of the Week!

This week was a challenge for me. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to stick to athletes, go to TV personalities or if Movie actors would be my cup of tea. After careful consideration and many minutes of debate inside my own head, I finally decided. Why not combine a few? Well, if you can call Quidditch a sport that is. When falling into the world of Harry Potter, the players in the game would definitely qualify as the jocks of the wizarding world. So, even though some of these people may not have played, they all enjoyed to watch. And, they are all grown up. Some you may not even recognize! Welcome to Hogwarts!

SDCC 2014: Convention Center Navigation Tips!

It's our first time going to San Diego Comic Con, so we are looking at every single tip and taking it all in. We know that Comic-Con site has the best information and we wanted to share it with some of you that may be new to the the convention as well.
Take a look below.

Comic-Con International is a vast and magical place. It’s also crowded. Here are some tips for getting around.

You won’t need a sextant or protractor to plot a course, but you should familiarize yourself with the lay of the land, via our online maps (the web version of our Quick Guide will be online next week), especially the Exhibit Hall map (click here to see it). Scope out your favorite booths now, by utilizing our Exhibitor Lists and use them with the map … preparation is key!

When you’re in the Exhibit Hall, please don’t stop in the aisles to take photos of that awesome cosplayer in front of you. Traffic on the floor is dense and constantly moving. We know this is a tough request, but please be mindful of your surroundings and everyone else, especially if you have little ones with you.

The Exhibit Hall is always crowded. If you’re in Hall A and suddenly have the urge to visit Artists’ Alley, way down in Hall G, don’t try to get there through the Hall … Go out into the lobby and head that way. While still crowded, it’ll be much quicker.

A quick way to get up to both the Mezzanine (where Comic-Con Games are located), and the upper level panel rooms and Sails Pavilion is through the back of the Exhibit Hall. Exit through the doors of the back of Hall B2 and you’ll find an elevator and escalators to take you upstairs. This is the only way to get to the Mezzanine! You can also access the upper level panel rooms by the escalators and elevators in the front lobby.

Hollywood's Hottest Couple.. Umm Yeah...

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are Hollywood's newest power couple. This means that the "Modern Family" star has already moved on from ex-boyfriend Nick Loeb.

Vergara and Manganiello were first introduced at the White House Correspondence Dinner back in May. However, at that time, the Colombian bombshell was still in a relationship with Loeb."It's very, very new. They're having fun and getting to know each other." according to US weekly.

A good friend of Manganiello, whose name was not disclosed added, "Sofia is Joe's dream girl! He's been smitten with her for years. He's always had a huge crush on her. Things are going well for them so far. Sofia had no idea that he had been crushing on her for a while.

I guess we don't need to worry about what will keep Joe busy since he is no longer on HBO's True Blood

We wish nothing but happiness and a long happy love life for the new couple!

It Was All About the Dothraki at the Florida Supercon

Some know him from Stargate: Atlantis, or as Conan the Barbarian, but for most who attended this past weekend's Miami Florida Supercon, it was all about Khal Drogo. With more Khaleesi's in attendance than I could count, they too were looking for their Drogo.
Game of Thrones, Khal Drogo was played by the very sexy Jason Momoa. You all know his character was killed off in the first season, but he was so loved, and never forgotten. It was amazing to meet him. Besides the obvious (yea, he is ridiculously good looking), Jason is one of the nicest actors I've met. He was super down to earth and all about his fans. He took the time to interact with everyone, walking (running and high fiving) among those of us waiting to take a picture with him. He definitely knows how to stir up a crowd. During his panel he started speaking Dothraki, that certainly made a few girls scream.
Below is one of the pictures he took, an ultimate selfie!!! Can you see me in the audience? LOL!!

He was pretty coy when asked about playing Aquaman in the upcoming Batman v Superman, not giving us any information. He does have a movie called Road to Paloma coming out next week, which he filmed with his wife, Lisa Bonet. So be sure to check it out.

Book Blurb

Red Callaghan climbs into bed after a wild night of clubbing… and wakes up with a gun to her head. Fortunately, she knows more about weapons than her would-be kidnapper, and she manages to disarm him then turn the tables by seducing him.

When shy chemist Will gets roped into settling his father’s gambling debt, he thinks the ruby he’s tasked to steal is a precious stone. He soon finds out it’s actually the daughter of a rival crime lord.

After striking a compromise, Red and Will collide in one explosive sexual encounter after another while executing their plan to teach both sides a lesson.

Book Review

This is the second book in  "Jewels of Desire" series. I loved it. I enjoyed it even more, if that is at all possible, than "Diamond Duplicity" and that is saying a lot. the story moves quickly and it is hot in both action and sex. the characters are well written and I fell hard for both the leads in this book. I challenge you to read this and NOT do the same.

I look forward to the next story in this series.

Say Goodbye to Our Favorite Wolf

It's not real, Alcide isn't dead. Our HOT wolf with his smouldering eyes, gorgeous physique, and genuine sincerity is gone? Another True Blood shocker last night, as we lose another beloved character and the season just began. First Tara, now Alcide!!! I didn't want to believe it, but there's no coming back from that.

So I guess the good guy doesn't get the girl! Instead he winds up dead trying to protect her. I feel like this final season of True Blood is taking on Game of Thrones like undertones, don't get attached to anyone. The problem with that is we've been so attached to these characters season after season. When Alcide first came on screen he sure gave Eric a run for his money, if you happen to like the tall, dark and chiseled type. From the beginning, Alcide never had an agenda, and he was honestly just a really good guy. Even when his character got a little dark he still ended up doing the right thing, and being the better person. Then he finally gets the girl, and not just any girl but Sookie. (That should have been our first clue, that no good can come from that).

If only Sookie had listened to him when he suggested they keep driving, away from Bon Temps, but that would never be a realistic option. Not where Sookie is concerned. Always in the middle of the chaos is where you'll find Sookie. Last night was no different, asking Bill to help her in one of her ridiculous and dangerous plans. Even admitting to Bill that while she loves Alcide, she feels he loves her more, and wishing he'd love her a little less. Really, Sookie!!!??? I was pretty pissed off about that, knowing he's coming to save her...then shots ring out, and Alcide goes down for good. I pretty much stopped paying attention after that, because denial set in.

Good bye Alcide, you will be missed...

Music Monday – Michael Jackson

This Music Monday is all about the King. No, not Elvis… the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

Most of my childhood music memories star him. My brother was, and still is, one of his biggest fans. He had the "Beat It" jacket, the glove, the "Billy Jean" hat, and even had the dance moves too. He did almost all of his school air bands to Micheal. My heart broke the day he passed away. I remember everything about that day...  it’s still hard to believe… but his music will always live on.

So sit back and enjoy some of my favorites.

Who's Loving You

Before En Vogue did it, there was the Jackson 5... Sing it, little Michael.

Ben

Who knew a song about a rat could be so good?

Off the Wall

To this day, this is one of my most favorite songs ever.

P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)

Pretty young things, repeat after me... NA NA NA.

She’s Out of My Life

Something about this song just gets me. So sad and heartbreaking.

Don’t Stop 'Til You Get Enough

Come on, you know you wanna dance.

I Just Can't Stop Loving You (with Siedah Garrett)

One of best duets.

Blame It on the Boogie

Can't help but dance when I hear this.

Billy Jean

I still can't moonwalk. Lol.

Beat It

I still know all the moves to this and I still want his piano keys t-shirt. Oh, and my brother had the jacket and the hair. Lol.

We Are Here to Change the World

Beyond bummed Disneyland doesn’t have Captain EO anymore.

The Way You Make Me Feel

I so wanted to be that girl he was chasing around.

Remember the Time

As if you could forget being in love with Michael.

You Are Not Alone

Even though this video is a little creepy, still love this one.

Thiller

The only zombies I ever liked are the ones in this video.

Leave Me Alone

They never did leave him alone.

Scream (with Janet Jackson)

Love this one for 2 reasons: A. it’s badass, and B. he says "F*CK”.

Man in the Mirror

One of the most powerful songs ever. Always gets me. Always.

So, there you have it – some of my favorite songs by the King of Pop. Tell me what your favorites are.

True Blood newcomer sinks teeth into new role

Nathan Parsons stars in the final season of HBO's True Blood.Foxte
True Blood might be in the death throes of its final season *wipes a tear away*, but fans are still meeting new faces.
And yes I know that, our awesome @BellaDonna_FN covers True Blood, but I couldn't help but want to know more about this new comer to our show. Who I am obsessed with on The Originals as a very sexy wolf.
Adelaide-born, US-raised actor Nathan Parsons was thrilled to join HBO's camp, raunchy and over-the-top vampire drama, set in a sleepy Louisiana town.
"It's such a thrill for me," he said.
"I remember watching this show seven years ago and it was like nothing else on TV," Parsons told The Guide.
"To be a part of it is really, really amazing."
The 26-year-old has taken over the role of James, Jessica's new love interest whom she met at "vamp camp" last season, from Luke Grimes.
"The character of James wasn't that well established in season six," Parsons said.
"You sort of met him but you didn't get his story. It is odd taking someone's part, but he was such a small character in season six now I think we can go a totally different direction with it and I think we will be forgiven."
The recent season seven premiere gave viewers a greater insight into James when he opened up to Lafayette about how he became a vampire. From his first day on set, True Blood star and director Stephen Moyer (Vampire Bill) took Parsons under his wing.
"He taught me how to be a vampire in this world," he said.
"Every vampire show has different rules and different ways of doing things.
"It was good to have Stephen there to say 'okay when your fangs click out this is how I do it, this is what you need to think about'. I got tips on being a vampire from Vampire Bill himself."
Parsons is best known for his role as Jackson in The Originals, which follows the original vampire family from The Vampire Diaries as they return and settle in New Orleans.
"The Originals has its own mythology which is similar (to True Blood) but different. I play a werewolf on The Originals so I get both sides of the coin, which is really fun," he said.
His introduction to the complex web of True Blood characters was also made easier by his friendship with Deborah Ann Woll, who plays flame-haired vampire Jessica.
"We went to college together so it was really comfortable to just step in," he said.
The cast has spent the past seven months filming the show's final season and Parsons said there was a lot to squeeze into 10 episodes.
"So much happens so quickly it sort of takes your breath away," he said.
"This is how True Blood works.
"You get on the show and you're thrust into the blood, sex and violence."
The final season sees the residents of Bon Temps - human, vampire and otherwise - dealing with the fallout of the Hep-V vampires' attack on the human-vampire mixer at Bellefleur's and the possibility of another attack.
Jessica's continued vow to protect Sheriff Andy's fairy daughter Adilyn has kept her and James apart, but it is hoped they will reunite.
And what will be the consequences of Pam's overseas reunion with Eric? What do you think FANdomaniacs?
