The British actor told GQ that at first he was a bit hesitant to sign on to the project having spent his childhood reading popular fantasy series, "I pretended I was reading, like, Sartre or something, but it was all Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings."
Aside from his new heartthrob status, James has got some snappy style, showing off what GQ's calling the original all-American look in the pages of its March issue.
GQ's Andrew Richdale talks about the eight-page spread, saying "the goal here is to nod to New England, not look like a total WASP wannabe." With the magazine's Eric Sullivan adding, "once a refuge for the rich and Waspy, these days Nantucket is, thanks to an injection of smart fish kitchens and worthwhile hotels, a refuge for them plus you."
