Hottie of the Week!

This week was a challenge for me. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to stick to athletes, go to TV personalities or if Movie actors would be my cup of tea. After careful consideration and many minutes of debate inside my own head, I finally decided. Why not combine a few? Well, if you can call Quidditch a sport that is. When falling into the world of Harry Potter, the players in the game would definitely qualify as the jocks of the wizarding world. So, even though some of these people may not have played, they all enjoyed to watch. And, they are all grown up. Some you may not even recognize! Welcome to Hogwarts!

Our Top 5 reasons Theo James is here to stay

Theo Tuesday is a staple here at FANdemonium Network. We thought we would take the time to point out our top five reasons we think Theo is here to stay.

1- He’s British. The British are coming the British are coming. He is blazing the path with latest of the Brit Pack to come over the pond.

2- We know he can rock a convincing accent. He was amazing in Golden Boy with his perfectly nailed New York accent, and is rocking as Four with his very American accent which has a hint of Chicago and New York well blended together.

Fifty Shades Won't Be Significant for Dakota Johnson

Does father really know best? According to Don Johnson, Dakota's father who was successful him self in the 80's with Miami Vice, simply thinks Fifty Shades will be a, "blip on his daughter's career."

The 65 year old in a recent interview went on to say that he is "proud of his daughter's acting talents and despite her having the lead role in the much-hyped adaptation of E. L. James' raunchy novel, he doesn't think it will be seen as particularly important in the long term." Stating that she will be a significant actress for many years to come.
Don Johnson himself has not read the book that the movie is adapted from and has no intentions to, but said he will see the film and support his daughter now and in all the significant roles she will have in the future.

Theo Tuesday: Love Four, Theo James's Sexy Divergent Character? Watch This Video

The Divergent universe is about to expand, and we're not even talking about the currently filming sequel, Insurgent. Divergent author Veronica Roth is releasing her next book in the series, and it's not the sequel after Allegiant, but a new view of the world through the eyes of the character Four, named after him. As she told us in our interview with her, Roth chose to write about the Dauntless member so she could write a prequel, and she explains why she chose the character in this exclusive video. The other perk of watching? Lots and lots of footage of the man who plays the character in the movies: Theo James. Check out the video and also our exclusive quote from Four below, which comes out July 8!

‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ Capitol Couture Posters

The thing I love about The Hunger Game franchise are the marketing materials. Lionsgate is always blowing my mind with their fun tie-ins, which continues with these series of posters over at Yahoo!

Lionsgate has figured out the way to rake it in and keep millions of teens and adults alike spending and buying with their marketing genius ways. And it only seems to get better and better with each series of movies they make and turn to box office gold.

These new Capitol Couture one-sheets celebrate the heroes of the districts of Panem in advance of the November 21, 2014 release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.

Below is the list of nominees for Divergent (click on the images for the link to vote):

Shailene Woodley – Divergent – Actress Action

Divergent – Action

Non-Divergent related but part of the Divergent family nonetheless, Shailene, Ansel and The Fault In Our Stars (TFIOS) has been nominated as well (click on the pictures for the link to vote):

TFIOS – Drama

Ansel Elgort – TFIOS – Actor Drama

Shailene Woodley – TFIOS – Actress Drama

The rules state you can only vote once per day, be a U.S. resident, and be under 19 to vote, which is a bummer for those of us who are fans but part of an *coughs* older *coughs* generation. What are you waiting for? GO VOTE!

First Look: ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Starring Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey

When Jamie Dornan was cast as our beloved Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey we squawked and moaned. But we have faith, err I have faith in E.L. James and director Sam Taylor-Johnson in their ability to cast the perfect version of our Fifty.

The book based on the Twilight-fanfiction-turned-erotic-best seller now coming to the big screen has a lot of big hopes dreams and fantasies to live up to. Fifty Shades of Grey is the twisted love story of young hunky elusive billionaire Christian Grey and virginal naive college student Anastasia Steele ( Dakota Johnson ).

The first image of our 'Fifty' is released and I can't help but see a very Edward Cullenesque image of Jamie.

I could have sworn I have seen a similar image of Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen or watched a clip in one of the movies of almost the same smoldering look.

And before you balk at me for making this comparison, keep in mind it was Edward and Bella in the fanfic version.

I think Jamie nailed the look and will be an amazing Fifty. We all need to get used to the book version and not get stuck in the fanfic version. What do you think? We want to hear from you.

‘Insurgent’ filming zip line scenes in downtown Atlanta this week!

As Insurgent wraps up filming at the Serenbe Community, crews have been prepping their next location –downtown Atlanta.

There signs posted along Peachtree St that say filming will be taking place between 6/11 – 6/24 (this includes setting up and tearing down the set but we can assume the shoot will take place over multiple days this coming week).

The sets are actually on top of several rooftops (including one on top of the Peachtree Center) and they are connected by zip lines. On Friday, stunt men and women were seen practicing and testing the zip lines several times.

The Divergent sequel stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Octavia Spencer, Jai Courtney, Ray Stevenson, Zoë Kravitz, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q and Mekhi Phifer. The movie is based Veronica Roth’s best selling book series and hits theaters Mar. 20, 2015.

Phoenix Comicon Days 2 & 3

Costumes large and small, some bare nearly all, wind their way through downtown Phoenix on their trek into the convention center where Phoenix Comicon has taken over. I can’t even begin to tell you how many awesome, freaky, weird and wonderful people passed by and all were willing to snap into character and strike a pose for us.
For the budding cosplayer, there were wonderful panels, vendors of the most intricate wares and of course the opportunity to be a rockstar as you wander through the con with your friends unleashing your inner superhero or working your divaliciousness.
If you opt in for a Photo Op, the lines move fast and the people working PhoenixComicon have it down to a science. I thought for sure we were going to miss the cutoff but it was smooth as silk.

Friday it was still pretty easy to maneuver the massive venue – I’m still not sure we saw everything but there’s always next year but we did get into a few actor panels and one of them was Mark Sheppard currently from Supernatural.
He slipped right into Crowley to tease and torment the audience. I was dying whenever anyone asked a question because he came down off the stage and slid right over to fans. It was wicked and wonderful watching Mr. Sheppard toy with the audience like a cat playing with a mouse.
Probably my favorite part of the panel was when a fan argued that Crowley was a villain with him staunchly denying that declaration. I loved it because writers and really good actors know that the antagonist never thinks he’s the bad guy – that’s what makes them believable characters.

The Fault In Our Stars

There comes a time when we all look for inspiration, sometimes it comes from within, or a gesture from another person, and sometimes where you least expect it. I always try and live by the motto, you only live once. As I've said time and time again, we only have one shot at this, so make it count. Its a blessing when you find that little bit of inspiration or reminder to truly embrace this life, even when you weren't even looking for it...

A friend of mine told me I had to read The Fault in Our Stars. And because I'm old fashion, and still love sifting through the pages of a book, I bought it the next day. Well, there it was INSPIRATION, staring me in the face page after page. This book isn't just about two amazing kids, who happen to have cancer. its about life, living, embracing the moment, and about love. A love that has no limits, a love that knows no sickness...just a raw love, one that changes you.

Of course I cried, flipped a page, and cried some more. Not just because you knew what the inevitable was going to be, but the sheer beauty of it's message. Is it better to have loved and lost, then to never have loved at all? YES!!!

I saw the movie last night, and without disappointment, I've never experienced a book to film adaptation as spot on as TFIOS. These incredible actors, took this amazing story above and beyond expectations. The story, their performance ripped right through me, and I fell in love again and again...Maybe it was slowly at first, then all at once...

This isn't a movie review, so much as it is a message to please see this film. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, and maybe it'll inspire you. We are here but a fleeting moment, so LOVE hard, and fight HARD...

To John Green, and the entire cast, thank you for this book and this movie. It truly captured my heart.

Willem Dafoe inspired by 'Fault' co-star Shailene Woodley's 'optimism and fresh energy'

By the time Shailene Woodley was born in 1991, her "Fault in Our Stars" co-star Willem Dafoe had racked up 15 years in the acting biz — and an Academy Award nomination to boot. But during a visit to TODAY Thursday, Dafoe said he doesn’t mind the generation gap one bit.

“The truth is, it’s wonderful,” the actor said of sharing the screen with Woodley, 20-year-old Ansel Elgort and 19-year-old Nat Wolff in the new film.

Laughing, he added, “There’s an optimism and a fresh energy that sometimes you can’t find with people of my age.”

“The hardened cynic,” TODAY's Willie Geist joked.

That’s certainly true of Dafoe’s character in the film. He plays Peter Van Houten, a bitterly reclusive author hiding out in Amsterdam.

Make no mistake, though: Dafoe can do silly material, too. Later this month he’ll take to the New York stage with actor-choreographer Mikhail Baryshnikov in the absurdist dark comedy “The Old Woman.” And he confirmed to TODAY that he’ll have a role in “Finding Dory,” the much-awaited sequel to “Finding Nemo.”

“It’s in the works,” he said. “We’ve started already.”

News: Naomi Watts Joins 'Insurgent,' Two 'Allegiant' Films

The actress will follow up the "Divergent" sequel with Gus Van Sant's "Sea of Trees" opposite Matthew McConaughey.

Naomi Watts has signed on to join the next three films in Lionsgate's Divergent franchise.

The actress, who recently committed to star in Gus VanSant's Sea of Trees oppositeMatthew McConaughey, is joining the cast of Divergentsequel Insurgent as Evelyn, leader of the Factionless. Watts' deal calls for to co-star in the futuristic franchise's two final movies, which are based onVeronica Roth's YA novel Allegiant, the final book in the Divergent trilogy.

Watts will jump right toInsurgent, which began shooting last week in Atlanta.Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Ansel Elgort, Kate Winslet and Miles Teller -- who all appeared in Divergent -- return for the sequel. Watts joins Octavia Spencer as new additions to the cast. After Insurgent wraps in September, Watts will move on to Sea of Trees, which will take her through November. The in-demand actress is mulling a number of films after that.

Robert Schwentke, who replaced Divergenthelmer Neil Burger, is directing Insurgent from a screenplay written by Brian Duffield and Akiva Goldsman.

Red Wagon's Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher are producing alongside Pouya Shahbazian.

Insurgent puts Watts, who typically gravitates toward indie projects with auteurs, in the YA tentpole game. Divergent, which opened March 21, has earned $267 million worldwide. Still, she is no stranger to commercial films, having starred in Peter Jackson'sKing Kong and The Ring films. Watts has three films awaiting release: Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's Birdman, The Weinstein Co.'s St. Vincent -- opposite Melissa McCarthy -- and Noah Baumbach's While We're Young.
