‘Insurgent’ filming zip line scenes in downtown Atlanta this week!

As Insurgent wraps up filming at the Serenbe Community, crews have been prepping their next location –downtown Atlanta.

There signs posted along Peachtree St that say filming will be taking place between 6/11 – 6/24 (this includes setting up and tearing down the set but we can assume the shoot will take place over multiple days this coming week).

The sets are actually on top of several rooftops (including one on top of the Peachtree Center) and they are connected by zip lines. On Friday, stunt men and women were seen practicing and testing the zip lines several times.

The Divergent sequel stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Octavia Spencer, Jai Courtney, Ray Stevenson, ZoĆ« Kravitz, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q and Mekhi Phifer. The movie is based Veronica Roth’s best selling book series and hits theaters Mar. 20, 2015.

The Fault In Our Stars

There comes a time when we all look for inspiration, sometimes it comes from within, or a gesture from another person, and sometimes where you least expect it. I always try and live by the motto, you only live once. As I've said time and time again, we only have one shot at this, so make it count. Its a blessing when you find that little bit of inspiration or reminder to truly embrace this life, even when you weren't even looking for it...

A friend of mine told me I had to read The Fault in Our Stars. And because I'm old fashion, and still love sifting through the pages of a book, I bought it the next day. Well, there it was INSPIRATION, staring me in the face page after page. This book isn't just about two amazing kids, who happen to have cancer. its about life, living, embracing the moment, and about love. A love that has no limits, a love that knows no sickness...just a raw love, one that changes you.

Of course I cried, flipped a page, and cried some more. Not just because you knew what the inevitable was going to be, but the sheer beauty of it's message. Is it better to have loved and lost, then to never have loved at all? YES!!!

I saw the movie last night, and without disappointment, I've never experienced a book to film adaptation as spot on as TFIOS. These incredible actors, took this amazing story above and beyond expectations. The story, their performance ripped right through me, and I fell in love again and again...Maybe it was slowly at first, then all at once...

This isn't a movie review, so much as it is a message to please see this film. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, and maybe it'll inspire you. We are here but a fleeting moment, so LOVE hard, and fight HARD...

To John Green, and the entire cast, thank you for this book and this movie. It truly captured my heart.

Willem Dafoe inspired by 'Fault' co-star Shailene Woodley's 'optimism and fresh energy'

By the time Shailene Woodley was born in 1991, her "Fault in Our Stars" co-star Willem Dafoe had racked up 15 years in the acting biz — and an Academy Award nomination to boot. But during a visit to TODAY Thursday, Dafoe said he doesn’t mind the generation gap one bit.

“The truth is, it’s wonderful,” the actor said of sharing the screen with Woodley, 20-year-old Ansel Elgort and 19-year-old Nat Wolff in the new film.

Laughing, he added, “There’s an optimism and a fresh energy that sometimes you can’t find with people of my age.”

“The hardened cynic,” TODAY's Willie Geist joked.

That’s certainly true of Dafoe’s character in the film. He plays Peter Van Houten, a bitterly reclusive author hiding out in Amsterdam.

Make no mistake, though: Dafoe can do silly material, too. Later this month he’ll take to the New York stage with actor-choreographer Mikhail Baryshnikov in the absurdist dark comedy “The Old Woman.” And he confirmed to TODAY that he’ll have a role in “Finding Dory,” the much-awaited sequel to “Finding Nemo.”

“It’s in the works,” he said. “We’ve started already.”

Shailene Woodley Trashes Those Theo James Dating Rumors...

Shailene Woodley has stomped on Divergent fans dreams by indirectly confirming that whispers about her dating her drool worthy co-star Theo James are false.

Fans of the young adult drama were all a flutter at James and Woodley's off-screen chemistry, and it is not hard to see how rumors of a real-life romance came about. The pair have publicly complimented each other's looks, been photographed arm in arm on numerous occasions and seem to positively glow with chemistry in interviews.

What if you could interview John Green, Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort...

Unless you have been living under a rock, you know that 'The Fault in Our Stars' tour is coming to several cities around the country to promote the movie. The book was fantastic the movie is slated to be amazing, I mean how could it not Shailene is starring in it as Hazel Grace.

We have been thinking what if we could sit down and talk to the stars and the author and ask them any questions, what would they be, like...
With the subject matter, Cancer, was the set kept light in between takes?
Had you read the book before getting cast in the role?
What was your reaction to being cast?
Knowing each other from that other famous movie, {grins} did that help with the connection between you both on set, I mean working so closely with each other not on one, but two movies.
Shai - What lessons did you if any did you learn from Hazel?
Ansel - Did you take anything away from playing Gus?

I know if I could sit down with Hazel and Gus what I would want to know, but alas Gus and Hazel are just the characters in this amazing story.

So if you could sit down with Shai, Ansel and of course the amazingly talented writer John what would you want to ask them about the book, or the movie.

We want to hear from you!

'The Fault in Our Stars' could be this summer's must-see romance

Forget — for just a moment — about summer’s spandex-clad superheroes and cities being destroyed by robots and monsters. The Fault in Our Stars, out June 6 and adapted from the 2012 best-selling John Green novel, stands to be the must-see love story of the season.

In this week’s Entertainment Weekly, Sara Vilkomerson reports from The Fault in Our Stars set in Pittsburgh and explores how TFIOS — which tells the love story of two teenagers who meet in a cancer support group — became an unlikely YA phenomenon. “I tried to write the funniest, most honest love story I could about these kids who were living with a difficult disease. I never thought it would be popular,” says Green. “I certainly never imagined it would be a movie.”

Luckily, one studio decided to take a chance on the project. Fox 2000 president Elizabeth Gabler remembers how producer Wyck Godfrey convinced her to make the film. “Wyck called me and said, ‘You can’t pass on this. You have to do this,” she says. “I said, ‘Why are you doing this to me?’ And he said, ‘Because. It makes you remember when you were a teenager and you were in love for the first time and you didn’t want to hang up the phone.’”

With a modest budget of $12 million, every piece of the TFIOS puzzle was carefully considered — from hiring director Josh Boone to casting rising stars Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort in the lead roles of Hazel and Augustus. Green, who was on set for just about every day of shooting, found the experience an unexpected pleasure. “Shailene has become Hazel to me. Ansel has become Gus,” he says. “The feeling I’ve had consistently is this deep weird joy.”

For more on The Fault in Our Stars — including interviews with director Josh Boone and stars Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort — pick up the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, on stands Friday, May 2.

After getting a full blast of  Theo James' rumored girlfriend Shailene Woodley's and Ansel Elgort's love story in "The Fault in Our Stars" trailer a new extended version was released showing even more of Hazel's heartbreaking story.

In the film adaptation that is based off of John Green's bestselling young adult novel we following the doomed love story of two teens.

According to Us Weekly, the novel has already obtained a band of loyal followers that are excited to see Woodley and Elgort shake off their hardcore "Divergent" characters and take on the roles of Hazel and Augustus respectively.

The extended trailer features flashes of several significant scenes from the book which includes the likes of Augustus explaining why he carries an unlit cigarette in his mouth, the couple's romantic date in Amsterdam and the egging of Isaac's ex-girlfriend's car.

From the new clip combined with the narration in which Hazel compared falling in love to falling asleep, slowly at first and then all at once, devoted fans of the book should be happy with the treat until the full length film hits theaters.

(Photo : Facebook) Ansel Elgort talks Caleb's character change in upcoming sequels

"Divergent" actor Ansel Elgort has revealed that Caleb fans may be in for a rude awakening.

According to Bop and Tiger Beat, the 20-year-old actor inferred that although fans may have taken a liking to his character in "Divergent," they might feel different about him towards the end of the series.

"I like the fact that he's not a leading man, and that he's kind of an antagonist," Elgort said. "He's not the guy the audience will love the whole time. You might even hate him as the second and third movies-if we get to make them-come out, because Caleb has a real arc."

Movie Review: Divergent

Divergent comes out this Friday and we couldn't be happier and more excited for you to see it. We had the privilege of seeing it at two screenings and meeting Veronica herself as well Ansel Elgort, Christian Madsen (“Al”), and Ben Lloyd-Hughes (“Will”). The movie beat all of my expectations and then some.

I first read Divergent back in 2012 and I liked, I found it hard to get into at first, and I’m "that girl", if it doesn't grab me right away, I either may not finish it cause I am bored, or I finish it out of curiosity to see what the big deal is. That was my first round of reading Divergent. So when I went to see the movie for the first time, the book was so far out of my mind, that it was as if I was living it for the first time and how could I refuse, I was getting to see Theo James bring ‘Four’ to life on the big screen. Theo was my hook, I cannot tell a lie, as if you guys don’t adore him and drool over him as well. But I digress, Divergent is so more than Theo, it is an amazing story and original and unique but you all knew that already from reading the book, and if you haven’t get to it, it’s a must read, even if you go see the movie this Friday March 21.

‘The Fault In Our Stars’ Announces Tie-In Paperback Book

Looks like The Fault In Our Stars is looking to rejuvenate their sales. The film adaptation, which is coming out on June 6, will probably bring more attention to the novel by John Green, or at least that’s what it seems like the publishers are hoping for. The tie-in film release for The Fault In Our Stars’ paperback was just announced.

This means instead of the original cover for The Fault In Our Stars, the actors, Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort will be featured on the cover of millions of new editions to be published. On the new paperback cover the two are seen nestling their heads next to each other while facing in opposite directions. Some fans have said that the placement of the actors’ two heads resemble the clouds on the original hardcover.
