Emmy Nominations: The Complete List

"Game of Thrones" and "Fargo" score the most mentions, while newcomers high on the list are Netflix comedy "Orange is the New Black" and HBO drama "True Detective."

The 66th annual Emmy Awards are set to be handed out Aug. 25 during a live NBC telecast, with the annual Creative Arts ceremony planned for the week prior, and those up for kudos this year found out bright and early Thursday morning.

Mindy Kaling and Carson Daly were at the TV Academy's North Hollywood headquarters to announce this year's nominees, and Game of Thrones and FX miniseries Fargo scored the most mentions with a respective 19 and 18 nominations a piece.

American Horror Story also scored big with its latest installment, Coven, while other newcomers making a big impression on the race are Netflix's Orange is the New Black and HBO's True Detective — the latter drew big buzz when the network decided to submit it as a drama series and not a miniseries.
