Robenberg in Cannes again!

Today, for the second week of my Rob obsession, another Cannes film festival selection…..

Under the direction of David Cronenberg, Rob is thrown into another role that shows his diversity as an actor.  He plays Jerome Fontana, the incredibly hot, sexy limo driver who is wanting to become an actor.

With a cast that includes many well known names (John Cusak, Julianne Moore, and Carrie Fisher) and some less known but up and coming names in Mia Wasikowska and Sarah Gadon, this film is meant to show the complex world of Hollywood and how it looks to the Western Culture.

We have seen the relationship before between Cronenberg and Rob in Cosmopolis and I think that we will see them work together again.  This movie is highly anticipated not only among us Rob fans but also the film industry.

With each new project Rob signs onto, I get more and more excited to see what will happen next.

Next week, let’s talk about one of his new projects.  Will it be Life, Queen of the Desert, The Childhood of a Leader, The Lost City of Z or Hold On To Me.  Or should we take a step back and see how Rob came to be by going through past roles?  Give me your thoughts!

  2. i like the idea of looking into past roles and life too. but not twilight. no need to perpetuate that image he's done such a great job of moving away from.
