Charles Michael Davis Joins 'The Originals' As A Hump Day Hottie

We’d like to take bite into Charles Michael Davis, but we'll settle for watching him play a hottie vamp on the “Vampire Diaries” spin-off, “The Originals,” which kicks off this week. In honor of his new series, we’re naming him this week’s Hump Day Hottie. We’re pretty sure no one will complain about that.
Check out this dreamy photo of Charles, and keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: Charles grew up in Dayton, Ohio. Before he got his start acting, he was making girls swoon as a model, appearing in ads for Nike and Foot Locker.
Where you might have already seen him: Charles has been keeping up entertained on the small screen for years, including roles on shows like “The Game,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “The Client List” and “Switched At Birth.”
Why you should take notice of him now: Earlier this year, he was introduced to the world of bloodsuckers when he appeared in a very special episode of “The Vampire Diaries,” which served as a tease for the upcoming spin-off, “The Originals.” In the series, Charles plays Marcel, a bad-boy vamp who runs New Orleans and is making Klaus a bit angry. The only thing he makes us do is swoon.
Last month, Charles revealed a bit to MTV News about what fans should expect from the series, which will air Thursday this week before settling into its Tuesday timeslot next week. "Tonally, it's a little darker than 'The Vampire Diaries,' maybe skewed a little older,” he said, adding it’s "sexier. And a little cooler..."
Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute Charles by gawking at the photo above!
