"Catching Fire's" two trailers recorded nearly as many views as the rest of the top 10.
Hunger Games: Catching Fire trailer No. 1 scored 7.5 million views to take the top spot as the Internet's most viewed coming attraction during the last week of summer.
The second part of the dystopian YA trilogy racked up as many eyeballs as the next six spots on the top 10 list combined.
Add in the views for the movie's second trailer, which was the ninth-most-viewed trailer of the week, and Hunger Games trailers were viewed about 8.14 million times last week. The other eight movies had a total of 8.4 million views.
The No. 2 spot was held by Despicable Me 2 (trailer No. 3) with 2.5 million views, for a lifetime total of 69 million; followed by The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug No. 1, with 1 million views; 300: Rise of an Empire No. 1 in fourth, with 973,000 views; and We're the Millers (trailer No. 2) in fifth with 946,000.
Rounding out the bottom half of the list were One Direction: This Is Us No. 1 in sixth at 924,000,Riddick (trailer No. 1) with 803,000 and Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa No. 1 with 679,000.
One Direction's concert movie finished the Labor Day weekend as the second-highest-grossing movie, with a take of $18 million. Lee Daniels' The Butler, which was the highest-grossing film at $20 million, was not one of the 25 most viewed trailers last week.
Looking outside the top 10, the international trailers for 47 Ronin and The Counselor debuted at No. 15 and No. 20, respectively.
SyFy TV movie sensation Sharknado continues to draw attention with its trailer coming in at No. 22 more than a month after it first aired on the cable channel.
