Fall TV’s Hottest Couples: ‘Vampire Diaries,’ ‘Pretty Little Liars’ & More

Can you believe it’s September already? It’s almost time for the return of our favorite fall TV shows — which means it’s also almost time to start shipping our favorite fall TV couples! HollywoodLife.com did a sweep of the Fall 2013 TV schedule and plucked out the 20 couples we’re most excited to root for once again.

‘The Vampire Diaries’

If you thought Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) would be the only ones knocking boots in Mystic Falls this season, think again! The latest promo for The Vampire Diaries reveals sparks between Katherine and Silas (Paul Wesley) — who everyone thinks is Stefan. Now that would be an awkward double date.

‘Pretty Little Liars’

ABC Family’s twisted, addictive drama is only on for one hour this fall — the Halloween special airs Oct. 22 — but we’re confident it’ll squeeze as much relationship drama into that one installment as possible. That’s why we’re eager to see how Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Paige (Lindsey Shaw); Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Toby (Keegan Allen); and Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra (Ian Harding) fare by the end of the evening. We’re especially keeping our eye on the last pair!

‘Glee’

Even without ‘Finchel’ to swoon over, Glee still has plenty of couples worthy of our attention. Not only will season five usher in a relationship between new-girl Dani (Demi Lovato) and Santana (Naya Rivera), but things are also looking up for Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss)! And let’s not forget about Marley (Melissa Benoist) and Jake (Jacob Artist). Ah, freshman love.

‘Awkward’

While Jake (Brett Davern) and Tamara (Jillian Rose Reed) may be going strong, Awkward‘s main duo — Jenna (Ashley Rickards) and Matty (Beau Mirchoff) — are headed for heartbreak. And it’s all Jenna’s fault!

‘Grey’s Anatomy’

Someone’s fate may be hanging in the balance when Grey’s Anatomy returns for its tenth season, but one thing we can always count on is the love between Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo). MerDer forever!

‘Once Upon A Time’

ABC’s fantasy drama is so full of potential ships, it’s literally putting its main characters on a ship this season! But as the gang sets sail for Neverland, only one Once Upon A Time couple is actually in tact — Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming (Josh Dallas)!

‘Once Upon A Time In Wonderland’

Considering how quickly we fell in love with Snow and Charming on Once Upon A Time, we’re sure we’ll quickly become obsessed with Alice (Sophie Lowe) and Cyrus (Peter Gadiot) on its spin-off, Once Upon A Time In Wonderland.

‘Scandal’

They may not have the most ‘conventional’ relationship, but the heat between Olivia (Kerry Washington) and Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) is undeniable.

‘Arrow’

Starling City may be basically demolished after last season’s cinematic Arrow finale, but one thing is standing strong: Roy (Colton Haynes) and Thea’s (Willa Holland) relationship! Those two… so hot.

‘New Girl’

Now that Nick (Jake Johnson) and Jess (Zooey Deschanel) have finally done it — and by “it,” we mean it – we can’t wait to see how their relationship will unfold. With any luck, it’ll be equal parts disastrous and hilarious.

‘Beauty & The Beast’

We loved watching Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) build their relationship on the first season of Beauty & The Beast; we can’t even imagine what season two could have in store for the hot-and-heavy pair!

‘Nikita’

The final six episodes of The CW’s action-thriller are fast approaching, and we’re dying to see how things end for Nikita (Maggie Q) and Michael (Shane West), one of the most dynamic couples on TV right now.

‘Castle’

We come for the mysteries, but we stay for the relationship between Beckett (Stana Katic) and Castle (Nathan Fillion). And, seriously, how snazzy do they both look in those new promo shots?!

‘Bones’

Fact: Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) are one of the most adorable couples on TV right now — and they’ve even got a super-adorable baby to prove it.
