'Supernatural' Season 9: New Promo Photos Released Plus Actor Jared Padalecki Interview Video Describes New Season as 'Best Season in a Long Time' [PHOTOS AND VIDEO]

Another exclusive video on the "Supernatural" Facebook page features a solo Jared Padalecki teasing the fans with what to expect in the upcoming Season 9. Additionally, the excitement on "Supernatural" Season 9 further builds up with more promo photos released featuring Mr Padalecki with co-star Jensen Ackles as the Winchester brothers.

The 31-year-old actor, who portrays character Sam Winchester, revealed in the Facebook interview videowhat the viewers can expect in "Supernatural" Season 9. "A lot did happen in season 8. The biggest part that sticks out to me was filming for three days with Mark Sheppard. I really found that the script was beating up Sam and Jared. I found myself coming to work like, man, I really felt like I was in pain, and I think it translated on screen," Mr Padalecki shared.

According to Jared Padalecki, the most exciting part in "Supernatural" Season 9 is finding out how Sam Winchester got out of his predicament as a result from the Season 8 finale. The actor assured the fans that they have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming brand new season.

"Season 9 is our best season in a long, long, long time. We've got a lot of cool new characters, some great old throwback characters, and just a really great, strong storyline. So I'm really excited to have that on our new night where hopefully people tune in and remember what the show is all about," Jared stated.

The previously released promo photos, episode stills and spoiler reports has given the viewers what could happen in the "Supernatural" Season 9 premiere episode titled "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here." Sam Winchester will become seriously ill after failing to complete the ritual with demon Crowley in last season's finale and his brother, Dean, will try anything in order to save him.

The first episode shows as well the Winchester brothers arguing, Death declaring that he has been waiting for Sam, the appearance of fallen angel Ezekiel and Bobby Singer portrayed by actor Jim Beaver where he gives a piece of advice on life and death. Other character appearances involve actress Alaina Huffman's evil character, Abaddon, where she tries to take control over angels and demons as well as angel Castiel dealing with his transformation into a powerless human being.

"Supernatural" Season 9 returns to the CW network on Tuesday, October 8, at 9 p.m. ET.
