Guantanamo Babe: Will Audiences Take Kristen Stewart Seriously as a Soldier in Camp X-Ray?

Kristen Stewart spent five Twilight films getting rescued by werewolves and vampires. Consider Camp X-Ray her rebuttal to a half-decade of playing damsels in distress. As Guantanamo guard Private Cole, Stewart is punched, bloodied, and spat on -- and that's just the first 10 minutes. When her commanding officer jokes, "Welcome to Gitmo," she smiles.

On the same day, Elijah showed off his DJing skills while celebrating director Neil LaBute‘s 10 x 10 shorts.

Earlier in the day, Kristen sported a different outfit while attending the premiere for Camp X-Ray.

“Rehearsal was very necessary. Luckily there’s a lot of material [for research]. There are multiple documentaries we watched. There were memoirs written on both sides of the coin. And then I hung out with this really awesome Marine for three days and learned things in a very accelerated way,” Kristen recently shared about her role in the flick.

This just so happens to be a place where she and Rob would go regularly, a source tells HollywoodLife.com and this is the first time she’s been spotted there in a while! Perhaps she had been avoiding the spot because it reminded her of Robert Pattinson?
