Kristen Stewart, 23, rocked two tiny braids at the Camp X-Ray premiere at Eccles Center Theatre during the 2014 Sundance Film Festival on Jan. 17 in Park City, Utah. The Twilight star may be playing a more serious role in the new flick but her tropical tresses show that she is still the same laid-back lady! Tell us what you think of Kristin’s twin cornrows!
Kristen Stewart’s Braids At Sundance — Get The Look
We spoke with her hairstylist Kylee Heath EXCLUSIVELY:
“We just wanted a fun and pretty look and she loved it at the end!
“Starting on damp hair, I applied Oscar Blandi Hair Lift Mousse, combed it through and created a deep side part.
I then blew out her hair, keeping the part straight and defined. Once the hair was dry, I broke the side section in two — creating two cornrows — aka miniature inside out French braids. I then added a tousled texture by alternating between an inch and an inch and a half sized curling irons. I finished the look with a spray of the Living Proof Flex Shaping Hairspray and Kevin Murphy Easy Rider to smooth out any frizz.”
