Gwen Stefani confirmed as new ‘The Voice’ judge, replacing Christina Aguilera

The No Doubt rocker confirmed the news Tuesday, posting a photo to Instagram of herself holding a microphone and making the peace sign in the style of the ‘Voice’ logo.

The 44-year-old No Doubt singer has signed on as a coach for the seventh season of NBC's hit singing reality show, joining Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and another newcomer - Pharrell Williams. The two new judges will replace current stand-ins Shakira and Usher.

Aguilera confirmed the news on Twitter Tuesday.


So excited to have you join #TheVoice squad @GwenStefani!" she wrote. "Welcome to our crazy fam!"

The "Hollaback Girl" singer also posted an Instagram shot holding a microphone and making a peace sign with her fingers - in the style of the "Voice" logo to confirm.

"It's true!" she wrote as a caption.

Stefani signed a one-year contract, TMZ reported, with Aguilera is set to claim her spot back for the following season after giving birth to her second child, a baby girl with fiancé Matt Rutler.

The No Doubt singer also recently gave birth to her third child in February- another son named Apollo. She's already mom to Kingston, 8, and Zuma, 6, with husband Gavin Rossdale.

Host Carson Daly is confident Stefani will hold her own on the show.

"She's friends with the other coaches but has a strong opinion, which is also important," he previously told People magazine.


"They can't all just be too lovey out there. So I think she'd be a solid choice."

Gwen Stefani and the family are taking advantage of the Columbus Day holiday weekend! Here they are arriving at their hotel in Lake Arrowhead, California. At this point it’s impossible to look at a picture of Gwen and NOT try to see if there’s a baby bump- LOL. Yet in this loose coat, nothing is visible.

Do you have special plans for the holiday weekend? I’ll “out” myself now: I didn't realize a holiday (Columbus Day) was coming up until I saw that the bank would be closed on Monday. Now that I’m getting all the fliers for sales, I've figured it out.

Gwen Stefani Pregnant With Third Child

Hey baby, hey baby, hey!

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale already have two adorably stylish boys, and now the rockers are expecting their third child together, sources confirm to E! News.

The No Doubt singer, 43, and the Bush frontman, 47, have been married since 2002 and are parents to sons Kingston, 7, and Zuma, 4.

Nearly a year ago, Stefani told Marie Claire that she had "really, really wanted" to give her boys a sibling back in 2010. Without offering further explanation, she added that "it didn't really work out."

"I feel good with what we've got," she said at the time. "Everything works out how it should."

Darn straight!

"She and Gavin couldn't be happier," a source previously told Life & Style, which broke the news of Stefani's pregnancy today.

In the meantime, the family had another milestone to celebrate: Zuma turned 5 on Saturday, August 21.
