January Jones appears to have criticized a promotional poster for Fifty Shades of Grey after noting some distinct similarities with the campaign for TV series Mad Men.
The US actress, who has played housewife Betty Draper Francis in the hit drama since 2007, posted a photo of the movie advert on Instagram with a caption reading: “Does this look familiar to anyone else? #madmenpostercirca2010”
Due for release on Valentine’s Day 2015, Sam Taylor-Johsnon's silver screen adaptation of EL James' erotic novel stars Jamie Dornan as billionaire playboy Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as infatuated college student Anastacia Steele.
The Fifty Shades poster shows a suited-and-booted Dornan staring out of a high-rise office window under the line “Mr Grey will see you now”, while an old promo shot for the fourth season of Mad Men depicts Jon Hamm as businessman Don Draper in very similar surroundings.

Mad Men (Season 4):
However, as the 'dramatic gaze out of a city window' thing has been done several times before (think Batman in The Dark Night for starters), it is unlikely that the Fifty Shades distributors copied Mad Men 's poster.
Universal Pictures and Focus Features have not issued a comment on January Jones' observations.
