ANGELINA JOLIE Disney’s “Dream Trailer” For ‘Maleficent’ (Featuring Lana Del Rey)

Here’s a NEW trailer for Angelina Jolie’s new movie, ‘Maleficent.’ Disney is calling it the “dream trailer” because it features Lana Del Rey’s new version of the song ‘Once Upon a Dream.’ Talk about haunting! It will play during the end credits of ‘Maleficent.’ If you like what you hear, you can download Lana’s version of the song for FREE on Google Play through Monday, February 3.

Can Aaron Eckhart deliver us from evil?

Hollywood never seems to tire of taking Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein tale, cramming it into different clothing and pushing it, blinking, out into the projector’s unforgiving glare. With several versions of the story making their way to the screen, each has to find its own way to stand out. I, Frankenstein’s? Channel the story through an Underworld filter. Check out the first trailer . 

Conjuring up Len Wiseman’s vamp franchise is not really that shocking, since this comes from Underworld co-writer Kevin Grevioux’s comic book.

Stuart Beattie adapts and directs the tale of Adam (Aaron Eckhart), Frankenstein’s creation, who has achieved immortality and is now the focus for a war between powerful supernatural creatures. See, the evil side (led by Bill Nighy) wants to harness his abilities to create an army to destroy the human race. Whereas Miranda Otto’s forces are trying to save us – but at what cost to Adam?

Caught in the middle is Terra (Yvonne Stahovski), a scientist who helps Adam and, as seems standard in these things, might just have feelings for him. It’s tough to judge from the trailer, but so far I, Frankenstein does seem to give off a hint of generic good vs. evil mayhem with CG creatures aplenty. Can it rise above the standard levels? We’ll find out on January 24.

Trailer Report: 'Hunger Games' Outpaces Next Six Most Popular Previews Combined

"Catching Fire's" two trailers recorded nearly as many views as the rest of the top 10.

Hunger Games: Catching Fire trailer No. 1 scored 7.5 million views to take the top spot as the Internet's most viewed coming attraction during the last week of summer. 

The second part of the dystopian YA trilogy racked up as many eyeballs as the next six spots on the top 10 list combined.  

Add in the views for the movie's second trailer, which was the ninth-most-viewed trailer of the week, and Hunger Games trailers were viewed about 8.14 million times last week. The other eight movies had a total of 8.4 million views. 

The No. 2 spot was held by Despicable Me 2 (trailer No. 3) with 2.5 million views, for a lifetime total of 69 million; followed by The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug No. 1, with 1 million views; 300: Rise of an Empire No. 1 in fourth, with 973,000 views; and We're the Millers (trailer No. 2) in fifth with 946,000. 

Rounding out the bottom half of the list were One Direction: This Is Us No. 1 in sixth at 924,000,Riddick (trailer No. 1) with 803,000 and Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa No. 1 with 679,000. 

One Direction's concert movie finished the Labor Day weekend as the second-highest-grossing movie, with a take of $18 million. Lee Daniels' The Butler, which was the highest-grossing film at $20 million, was not one of the 25 most viewed trailers last week. 

The 10th spot was held by Curse of Chucky's first trailer, which garnered 605,000 views. 

Looking outside the top 10, the international trailers for 47 Ronin and The Counselor debuted at No. 15 and No. 20, respectively.  

SyFy TV movie sensation Sharknado continues to draw attention with its trailer coming in at No. 22 more than a month after it first aired on the cable channel.
