Hollywood's Hottest Couple.. Umm Yeah...

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are Hollywood's newest power couple. This means that the "Modern Family" star has already moved on from ex-boyfriend Nick Loeb.

Vergara and Manganiello were first introduced at the White House Correspondence Dinner back in May. However, at that time, the Colombian bombshell was still in a relationship with Loeb."It's very, very new. They're having fun and getting to know each other." according to US weekly.

A good friend of Manganiello, whose name was not disclosed added, "Sofia is Joe's dream girl! He's been smitten with her for years. He's always had a huge crush on her. Things are going well for them so far. Sofia had no idea that he had been crushing on her for a while.

I guess we don't need to worry about what will keep Joe busy since he is no longer on HBO's True Blood.

We wish nothing but happiness and a long happy love life for the new couple!

True Blood newcomer sinks teeth into new role

Nathan Parsons stars in the final season of HBO's True Blood.Foxte
True Blood might be in the death throes of its final season *wipes a tear away*, but fans are still meeting new faces.
And yes I know that, our awesome @BellaDonna_FN covers True Blood, but I couldn't help but want to know more about this new comer to our show. Who I am obsessed with on The Originals as a very sexy wolf.
Adelaide-born, US-raised actor Nathan Parsons was thrilled to join HBO's camp, raunchy and over-the-top vampire drama, set in a sleepy Louisiana town.
"It's such a thrill for me," he said.
"I remember watching this show seven years ago and it was like nothing else on TV," Parsons told The Guide.
"To be a part of it is really, really amazing."
The 26-year-old has taken over the role of James, Jessica's new love interest whom she met at "vamp camp" last season, from Luke Grimes.
"The character of James wasn't that well established in season six," Parsons said.
"You sort of met him but you didn't get his story. It is odd taking someone's part, but he was such a small character in season six now I think we can go a totally different direction with it and I think we will be forgiven."
The recent season seven premiere gave viewers a greater insight into James when he opened up to Lafayette about how he became a vampire. From his first day on set, True Blood star and director Stephen Moyer (Vampire Bill) took Parsons under his wing.
"He taught me how to be a vampire in this world," he said.
"Every vampire show has different rules and different ways of doing things.
"It was good to have Stephen there to say 'okay when your fangs click out this is how I do it, this is what you need to think about'. I got tips on being a vampire from Vampire Bill himself."
Parsons is best known for his role as Jackson in The Originals, which follows the original vampire family from The Vampire Diaries as they return and settle in New Orleans.
"The Originals has its own mythology which is similar (to True Blood) but different. I play a werewolf on The Originals so I get both sides of the coin, which is really fun," he said.
His introduction to the complex web of True Blood characters was also made easier by his friendship with Deborah Ann Woll, who plays flame-haired vampire Jessica.
"We went to college together so it was really comfortable to just step in," he said.
The cast has spent the past seven months filming the show's final season and Parsons said there was a lot to squeeze into 10 episodes.
"So much happens so quickly it sort of takes your breath away," he said.
"This is how True Blood works.
"You get on the show and you're thrust into the blood, sex and violence."
The final season sees the residents of Bon Temps - human, vampire and otherwise - dealing with the fallout of the Hep-V vampires' attack on the human-vampire mixer at Bellefleur's and the possibility of another attack.
Jessica's continued vow to protect Sheriff Andy's fairy daughter Adilyn has kept her and James apart, but it is hoped they will reunite.
And what will be the consequences of Pam's overseas reunion with Eric? What do you think FANdomaniacs?

‘True Blood’: Alcide Killed Off? — Joe Manganiello Teases His Death

‘True Blood’ has already killed off a major character this season, but it looks like more supernaturals are dropping dead before the series’ end. In a new interview, Joe Manganiello teases his own death. Will Alcide really be killed off the show?

We know that “nobody is safe” on the final season of True Blood, but please don’t kill off Alcide (Joe Manganiello)! What will we do without those abs? Well, we’ll die. Keep reading to see if it’s really true — but warning: SPOILER ALERT.

‘True Blood’: Joe Manganiello Teases Alcide’s Death

Joe Manganiello is one sexy beast. But not for long…
In a recent interview, the actor behind the wolf pack teased Alcide Hervaux’s pending death on the final season of True Blood.
“I think it creates a sense of urgency and electricity to the season that anybody could go at any time,” Joe said on Watch What Happens Live on June 23. “No one is safe.”

Is Alcide Really Being Killed Off?

So is Joe just teasing us, or is Alcide the unsafe one, this time around?
“In the books they have Alcide Hervaux still alive, but the books and the show have not always been the same, and this season will prove that point on multiple occasions with one of the big things being Alcide being killed,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “The show is going to be pretty crazy this season and there [are] going to be several significant deaths happening.”
Even more deaths, after Tara? and Alcide?! Put a stake in us.
Even more shocking? Bon Temps hasn't caught wind of Joe’s departure yet — if Alcide is indeed dead, the news will be just as big of a surprise to Joe’s cast mates, as it was to us.
“They have filmed stuff with Joe afterwards and have done multiple endings to that death scene,” the insider adds. “So many people in the cast and crew think he is still alive.”
FANdomaniacs, will Alcide’s death crush you as much as it will crush us? We want to hear from you!!!

'True Blood' heading for Broadway?

Tony Rivetti/HBO
Who isn't addicted to HBO's 'True Blood' Come one raise your hands? So no one. Raise your hands if you don't want to see the show to end? Ahhh that's better. Now for the hard one. Who wants to see 'True Blood' on Broadway? Just as I thought I see those looks. In fact I have the same look on my face right now.

It seems that Nathan Barr the show's composer has pitched the idea of 'True Blood the Musical' to creator Alan Ball and wanting to get back to the show's roots.

I mean yes I would love to have more Alcide, Eric and yes even Bill, and of course Sookie, but can you imagine the show on Broadway without the faces we have all come to love and see every Sunday night?

I am all for the show must go on, but I think maybe, just maybe this is an "all good things must come to an end" kind of ending.

We want to hear from you. Would you want to see True Blood the musical? Are we ready for that as we get ready to enter the seventh and final season?

5 Things to Know About the Magic Mike Sequel

Channing Tatum in Magic Mike

WARNER BROS.

The Magic Mike sequel is oiling up and ready to get busy: Warner Bros. confirms to PEOPLE that the flick is due July 3. 2015, with with, of course, star Channing Tatum returning. But as for that rumored title –Magic Mike: XXL– it's not certain and might change, insiders say. Here's five more things to know about the sexy sequel:

1. Some of the Original Cast Might Be Returning
"I think everybody's gonna be back, I think, and obviously nobody's deals are done," Magic Mike writer and star Channing Tatum told MTV at the Movie Awards Sunday. Insiders say some of the gang are in fact close to deals to return – including Matthew McConaughey and Joe Manganiello – but not yet Alex Pettyfer. Pettyfer's rep has not commented.

2. One Person Not Coming Back: Steven Soderbergh
He retired from Hollywood last year and won't be returning for the sequel, but director Steven Soderbergh's handing off the reins to a worthy standby. His protégée, Greg Jacobs, will step in for the next installment, despite reports that Tatum himself would be directing. Jacobs has helmed two films (Criminal and Wind Chilld), as well as boasts assisting creds on nearly 50 other projects, including Erin Brockovitch, HBO's Liberace biopic Behind the Candelabra and, of course, Magic Mike.

A Streetcar Named Desire starring Joe Manganiello

About A Streetcar Named Desire

In steamy New Orleans, an electrifying battle of wills ignites between Southern belle Blanche DuBois and her working class brother-in-law Stanley Kowalski. Nerves fraying and beauty fading, Blanche is both repelled and intrigued by Stanley’s primal brutishness—even as he threatens to reveal her darkest secrets and destroy her illusions.
Yale Repertory Theatre’s first ever production of Tennessee Williams’s Pulitzer Prize winning masterpiece, A Streetcar Named Desire, is staged by Mark Rucker, whose eight previous shows at Yale Rep include Tom Stoppard’s Rough Crossing in 2008. The cast features René Augesen (last seen at Yale Rep in A Woman of No Importance) as Blanche DuBois and Joe Manganiello (HBO’s True Blood) as Stanley Kowalski.

Joe Manganiello leads the pack

With a budding film and stage career, “True Blood” werewolf Joe Manganiello transitions to leading man

Don't get him wrong — Joe Manganiello is happy and grateful to play Alcide, the preternaturally buff werewolf pack leader on HBO’s hit series “True Blood.” It’s just, well, “Sometimes all I’m being asked to do is rip my shirt off and growl,” says the classically trained actor with a BFA from Carnegie Mellon with a touch of rue. “Honestly, it’s been tricky,” he continues, “because this past year, I've been shooting one or two scenes an episode, which means I’m acting two or three days a month. It’s easy to not feel like an actor. I have to get my creativity out somehow.”
Jacket, $1,895; shirt, $475; and trousers, $635 — all at DOLCE & GABBANA, 825 Madison Ave. Belt, $440 at SALVATORE FERRAGAMO, 655 Fifth Ave. Watch, $3,600 at DAVID YURMAN, 712 Madison Ave.

A glance at the guy’s sculpted shoulders will tell you how determined he can be. So it’s no surprise that his creativity is popping out all over. He’s been after his manager to find him a David Mamet or Tennessee Williams play to do. She delivered — from Sept. 20 to Oct. 12 he'll star as Stanley Kowalski in Yale Repertory Theatre’s first-ever production of Williams’ Pulitzer Prize-winning “A Streetcar Named Desire,” directed by Mark Rucker. Manganiello, who is 36, has played the role before, at the West Virginia Public Theatre in 2008, “so I know the play inside and out,” he says. “But I’m excited to check in and see where I’m at now as a person, what’s going to get pulled out from me this time.”

It’s his favorite play, he continues: “Everyone knows someone like these characters — the aging beauty, the abused spouse and this Jungian shadow form of a man. You don’t agree with the choices they make, but you get it. And what’s really amazing, on any given night, it depends on the performance as to who the audience is going to side with. There’s so much talk now about how the protagonists on cable TV are anti-heroes who live in a gray area, be it Don Draper on ‘Mad Men’ or Walter White on ‘Breaking Bad.’ People talk about this as if it’s some kind of new thing, but Tennessee Williams did it in 1947, and I think did it better than anybody. Stanley Kowalski is still the quintessential, top-of-the-mountain male role in American drama.”

For many, the quintessential Kowalski remains Marlon Brando in Elia Kazan’s film, but Manganiello is a confident guy; he’s not concerned with anyone else’s interpretation. “Am I intimidated? Not at all. I want it to be mine,” he says.
