Book Blurb

Red Callaghan climbs into bed after a wild night of clubbing… and wakes up with a gun to her head. Fortunately, she knows more about weapons than her would-be kidnapper, and she manages to disarm him then turn the tables by seducing him.

When shy chemist Will gets roped into settling his father’s gambling debt, he thinks the ruby he’s tasked to steal is a precious stone. He soon finds out it’s actually the daughter of a rival crime lord.

After striking a compromise, Red and Will collide in one explosive sexual encounter after another while executing their plan to teach both sides a lesson.

Book Review

This is the second book in  "Jewels of Desire" series. I loved it. I enjoyed it even more, if that is at all possible, than "Diamond Duplicity" and that is saying a lot. the story moves quickly and it is hot in both action and sex. the characters are well written and I fell hard for both the leads in this book. I challenge you to read this and NOT do the same.

I look forward to the next story in this series.

Book Review: Meant for Me by L.P. Dover

Meant for Me is your classic, girl meets boy, girl wants boy and boy doesn't know it yet, but it’s the way the story is wrote that is different than most stories you read which makes it stand out having you craving for more in this page turner romance novel by L.P. Dover.

"The Heavens Rise" by Christopher Rice

A little while ago I broke my own rule about suggesting a book I hadn't read. This is my review of that book.

I was wrong. This book is so much better than I thought. Christopher Rice is a phenomenal writer who gripped my heart for every second I was engrossed in this marvel. I would lie and say I couldn't put it down but the honest truth is I had to for my own sanity. The evil in this book is so much more than just a bad guy. It is a dark soul that takes your breath away when you realise the depths of its depravity. A calm darkness that has no conscience. A character that you would rejoice over its end.

The way it is written keeps you off balance just enough to keep you on edge even when there are good things happening. The small nasty surprises keep you from really feeling comfortable while reading this work.

Do yourself a favour and read "The Heavens Rise", it is worth every penny and more.

SM Reine Rules Halloween!

Just a few days ago I received a copy of SM Reine's latest release "Ruled by Steel". It was incredible. Sara has such a wonderful imagination, it is Halloween in her head every day.

Even though her characters are real and consistent they still manage to surprise you. Considering this is not even remotely her first book featuring these people.

Every couple of pages bring heart racing tension and mind numbing fear. I have no idea how she does it without some major chemical assistance.

Reading her books is an amazing journey through her twisted mind (only her author side). You want to take it, trust me! Make a start today. This is the third book in this series that is a follow on of two previous ones combined!

Go find all her books and embark on your journey into darkness, that brings you to this, one of her best works yet.
